Nominate

An invitation, not an obligation

Nominating is the verb this site is named for. It means handing one challenge to one person you know, and then leaving them alone about it.

The verb

How a nomination works

01
Pick one you like
Vote through a few pairs and find a challenge you would actually want to see somebody do.
02
Try it first, if you want
Optional, always. Filming it is optional too — there is no upload here and no account to attach it to.
03
Tell them yourself
Message your friend the challenge. They can do it whenever, or never. There is no deadline and no forfeit.

Honest state

The nomination mechanic described in the plan for this site is not built. Rather than mock it up, here is exactly where it stands.

No share link: There is no button that generates a nomination link, because there is no endpoint behind one. Sending the challenge is currently something you do in your own messages.
No counters: Sent, opened and accepted counters do not exist. Any number shown here would be invented, so none is shown.
No contact, ever: This site does not email or message anyone. It has no address book, no mailing list on this page, and no way to reach a person you nominate.
No naming: Nobody is listed publicly as having been nominated, or as having declined. There is no wall of shame because there is no wall.

Taking part means accepting the rules and the safety guidelines.
